ABOUT ME

My identity is found in Jesus Christ.

God made man and woman in his image. He made us perfect and to live directly with him without shame, but Adam and Eve sinned and turned away from God, rejecting him and resorting to replacing God with themselves.

As descendants of Adam, we inherit sin and participate in the rebellion. The just and right punishment from God would be to destroy humanity and permanently separate himself from us. Fortunately, we have hope.

Romans 3:10 says, “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together, they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”

Romans 3:23, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23, and the wages of sin is death.

But God is rich in mercy and love.

Romans 5:8, but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.

Romans 10:9-11 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth, one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

I believe that Jesus died on the cross, taking my sin and shame. On the third day rose up by the power of the Holy Spirit conquering death. Because of Jesus, I have salvation.
